Senior Care Services-  These are services that help your Mom or Dad make the transition from independent living to assisted living. It is very difficult for older adults who have been accustomed to caring for themselves, going and coming as they please, and answering to no one, to suddenly be dependent upon someone else for daily care. This change is often just as difficult for the children of active parents--it is hard to see these seniors unable to take part in the activities they love.

While they may never enjoy life the way it was, many assisted living facilities provide the same types of activities on a limited scale. For instance, many assisted living facilities have social outings such as going to the movies or providing movie night in the home. Other activities include board games, trips to the park, museum, or zoo.
